This project will team up researchers from Penn State and Cornell with the Leave No Trace organization, Subaru of America, and the National Parks Conservation Association to design educational programs that teach people ways to address climate change at a private and public level. The project will also discuss distribution of materials and tracking of impact on changing people’s behavior.
The overarching goal of this project is to collaboratively develop climate solution-focused educational strategies that can be disseminated, and subsequently evaluated for efficacy (behavior change), through the Leave No Trace organization with the assistance of Penn State and Cornell University faculty, and partners at Subaru of America, Inc., and the National Parks Conservation Association. This transdisciplinary team would ultimately advance the Climate Consortium’s theme focused on Public Engagement, Communication, and Behavior Change (and secondarily advancing Health and Well-being, and Nature-based Strategies).
