This project will connect young climate activists and social media storytellers with researchers to develop creative ways to tell stories about climate change. This collaboration aims to raise public awareness and influence policy decisions related to youth and climate justice.
Led by the Global Youth Storytelling and Research Lab at Penn State, this hybrid project seeks to bring together student leaders and academic researchers at Penn State with a leading group of global youth civil society advocates and social media storytellers for a day of creative multimedia projects, panel discussions, and co-design sessions led by the Lab. Our project will generate opportunities for long-term intergenerational and transnational research partnerships that have potential to shape policy outcomes and contribute to public understandings of youth climate justice.
